BRTI is a cloud-based software that efficiently manages Multi-Tiered Systems of Behavior Support across all tiers. BRTI was developed by educators to be trauma-informed and focused on positive discipline. It saves immense time,automating asynchronous processes and freeing teachers and support staff to really help.

Our behavior support plans name the interfering behavior, the learning behavior, and the inferred behavioral function. The plan itself has three parts, which are framed positively to grow and master learning behaviors:


Prevent & Promote Interventions are the core component. These are offered for teacher/team selection based on the student's presentation. They focus on preventing the interfering behavior and teaching an appropriate replacement behavior to serve students' underlying needs.


Positive Reinforcement is the critical second part. Here we provide the teacher with a framework for providing targeted and individualized reinforcement 


Reactive Support puts interfering behavior on extinction using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Based on brief functional hypothesis, our BSPs give staff a framework for responding flexibly to dynamic behavioral functions.


Protecting personally identifiable student information is a guiding principle in our development. We are compliant with all legislative mandates regarding student data privacy and we're proud to be a signatory to the Connecticut Student Data Privacy Promise. We are offering this software to schools for a small nominal fee as part of our pilot program. In exchange, we're seeking is constructive feedback to improve our product and better serve teachers, staff, and students.


Yes! Students who move from Tier-2 targeted plans to Tier 3 are given careful consideration of all individual factors for their success. The resulting Tier-3 plans allocate support and reinforcement accordingly. For those who continue to struggle, BRTI will guide school staff in conducting defensible and effective Functional Behavior Assessment.


When students are unable to meet behavior standards following increasingly individualized and intensive support, special education referral often follows. Our software documents the process of support, fulfilling the MTSS mandate for prioritizing and documenting response to intervention. BRTI plugs relevant information into your state's special education referral documents, saving time and giving your district uniform, consistent records of intervention, data-driven decision making, and student response.
